Writing Support Toolkit
The National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) partnered with the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention (DHDSP), at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Centers for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion to support DP18-1815, DP18-1816, and DP18-1817 recipients. Starting in 2020, the NNPHI and DHDSP teams worked with 1815/1816/1817 recipients and their TA providers to understand their programs, progress, and staff capacity.
The NNPHI and DHDSP teams then developed tailored virtual training and materials to support recipients’ future development of manuscripts and dissemination products, such as issue briefs and white papers pertaining to heart disease and stroke prevention programmatic and evaluation findings.
